CT Nurses Mental Health and Wellness Day
3 minutes of collective support and solidarity
Any nurse or friend of a nurse can join from anywhere
Let’s turn nurse mental health from a vision into a movement

You show up for a few minutes.
You’re mindfully present.
Trace the circle. Feel the vibration.
A humn is a brief, collective moment on the hūmNET platform -- people coming together synchronously around a shared intention.
A simple focus phrase. An immersive sound. A gentle vibration.
Glowing beacons on a live map showing everyone there with you.
It's not a video call. It's not chat or messaging.
It's just a pause. A moment of synchronous shared presence.
hūmNET is excited to partner with the CT Nurse Wellness Project to help create a few minutes of collective support and solidarity — to build community and connection, and focus on the importance of nurse mental health and wellness.
Wendy Garvin Mayo and the CT Nurse Wellness Project have been leading the charge in Connecticut, conducting the state’s first comprehensive survey of nurse wellbeing and turning those findings into real action — building capacity, strengthening psychological safety, and creating connection across the profession.
They are working to make August 8 CT Nurses Mental Health and Wellness Day — a statewide moment of recognition for everything nurses carry, and a commitment to supporting them going forward.
